VJ063BC --- New fast comet on Possible Comet Confirmation Page

The Possible Comet Confirmation Page lists a fast object VJ063BC (sky motion 6.4’’/min), that is supposed to be a new comet.

It was discovered on 9th of May, 2014 using a 68-cm telescope at the Catalina Sky Survey (Arizona, USA). Preliminary calculations of comet’s orbit have shown, that perihelion date is expected in the mid of June, 2014 (q=1.7 a. u.). VJ063BC is at the closest approach to Earth at this moment (0.8 a. u.) attaining maximum brightness ~18.2 mag.

Additional observations are urgently needed for this object. Make observations sending your astrometry to MPC, but remember that good astrometry results for this object require small exposures to avoid comet be stretched into a track. Note, that angular distance between the comet and the Moon will be too small in the next few days, so this may interfere your observations.
