| Comment | 1st quarter moon. Easily visible in 15x70 Binoculars and visible in 50mm finderscope. In 14" SCT at 170x it appears as a bright round mist 5' across with a small bright core and nearly stellar centre, a hint of an ion tail stub visible. |
