CommentThe comet was discovered on the 2nd of August, 1957 in the constellation Lynx moving through Leo Minor, Ursa Major and Coma Berenices (in late August) in the north west. Comet held in September on the border of Bootes and Virgo, in mid-October was in Libra. After conjunction to the Sun in 1958 moved slowly in Sagittarius.
